November 14th, 2015, members from Free Lunch volunteer association, Hohai University department already wake up early and start preparing a new publicity campaign. The event is organized by Youth Volunteers Association in Hohai University，which organized a "free lunch" as the theme, raised money by conducting the variety of activities. Meanwhile, with slogan “Gather Kindness to Boundless Love” as a theme, Hohai University Youth Volunteers Association also wants to invite more individuals to be a part of the charity volunteers.

In the evening, "one day" public film screenings and the "free lunch" advertising speech successfully held in high B101 at Hohai University. They presented “Free lunch" promotion videos to all of coming student. Every single food we provide, even one bowl of rice, will bring a smile. Du Yuyan who comes from free lunch volunteers association introduced the "free lunch" public projects, and encouraged students to interesting in charity and contribute their strength.

 Subsequently, on November 23, 2015, at noon, Youth Volunteers Association Hohai University held a "save food, love meals" activities in front of JunYuan cafeteria. People only who photographed clean plates after meal and @Hohai University Youth Volunteers Association official Weibo, could receive one cup of free bubble tea provided by JunYuan Dinning Hall.

Activities designed to promote awareness of the students to save food with free lunch charity, so that more students to join a free lunch initiative. Donations of free lunch and the “Clean Plate Action” also attracted attention in the same time. More and more students generously donated money for helping children who live in remote areas having a joyful lunch.

The most popular series of events undoubtedly belonged to Thanksgiving “One Yuan Chicken Sale" activity. Hohai Youth Volunteers Association's “one yuan chicken, love caring feedback" activities held on the Thanksgiving day, Nov. 16th in Chun Park Square.  This activity included two parts, people only needed to invest 1 RMB in the donation box to participate in a lottery; donate money for the free lunch would receive a "free lunch” official postcard. The square was crowded with people for hours. Everyone gathered around, enjoyed the surprise chicken, and also shared their precious kind heart together. Chicken coupons were all clear out in hours, indicated how success of the event is.

December 5th, this series of free lunch activities to "love lunch, forever public" on campus imitated Flash Mob at the end. Our volunteers in Hohai University folk dancers dressed in a red vest, accompanied by lovely dancer, the flag of free lunch flew on campus. Near the end of the show, lots of people have taken part, as passers-by stopped and enjoyed street performances. Everyone shouted in "free lunch, public square" for free lunch with one record, a series of activities to eventually finished up with a perfect ending.

It is worth mentioning that the Hohai Young Volunteers Association used a wise public platform for this "free lunch" series of activities online publicity, online interaction and offline activity combination, greatly enhance involvement and impact of this event. Therefore, the idea of "free lunch" activity spread further again.

Since an ancients said: “every single meal, comes from a hard work" in this event. Hohai University Youth Volunteers Association members do pay a lot, but perfect ending let us believe: “every single meal comes to represent happiness and love."

In summary, Hohai University volunteers truly hope that they can make more children to have a wonderful lunch so that more students will raise awareness of the public welfare,  and also love to participate in helping others. Step by step, they hope that all students live a happy life with full of love.

The river pours into the sea while simple kindness becomes love sharing. Congratulation to Free Lunch series of activities hold by Hohai University Youth Volunteers Association perfectly finished, but public welfare never stops, they will continue to pursuit more public welfare; it reminds me one of the sentences stated by Mark Twins. “do the right thing, it will gratify some people and astonish the rest.”
