What is FLFC?

What has FLFC changed?

What are its value and meaning

The best answer lies in the changes of a child over time after FLFC entered his or her life...

In 2011, Deng Fei jointly launched the charity project “Free Lunch For Children” with several hundred journalists around China. Photographer Huang Xingneng, as one of them, has experienced and witnessed the changes brought by this charity project. In 2015, the fourth anniversary of Free Lunch For Children (FLFC), Huang revisited the schools where he had been to four years ago to seek for the children and scenes once captured by his lenses and changes that have been taking places.

Four years ago, Long Youfen, a little girl from Wudedogn Primary School, Luquan, South China’s Yunnan Province, needed to cook on her own at an early age.

FLFC is coming and children in Wudedong Primary School can now have as much as they want for lunch .

Four years has passed, and she is in middle school now. She has changed and grows much taller.

Four years ago, as a first-grade girl, Zhao Meicui had to cook by herself in school.

Now Zhao Meizui doesn’t need to cook. She can enjoy the meal offered by her school.

Though it is just a simple hot meal, it delights every single one of them.

Ezhi school in De luo, Ganzi, locates at the snow-covered plateau. The scenery is beautiful while life is tough here. This school has not been included by the compulsory education yet, so children’s lives are supported by the local temples and caring people.

FLFC has solved the meal problems for nearly 200 children here.

There will be two or three months’ snow-blocking of the mountain road here, so FLFC has to prepare the supplies for the school in advance.

The school was equipped with solar energy and fridges with the help of FLFC

However, there are still more schools needing to be revisited…How are the children at the Wenshan border?

Are these children on the Ninlang Mountain living well now……

Do the children in Heihucun, Honghe, Kaiyuan have any changes?

As volunteers of FLFC, we will always be on the way….
